iBlob
iBlob was originally conceived as a dynamic game system that offers a new way for children to play, away from the constraints of a gaming console, TV, and other screens and devices. iBlob is an amorphous, fun-to-squish object that incorporates interactive lights and wireless music to get kids moving.
In the current stage of research and development, the goal is to explore the use of the iBlob system in a therapeutic context. Specifically, TrickleUp Design is evaluating the application of this concept in therapies used by practitioners working with individuals with dementia/Alzheimer’s, children and adults with autism, and people with brain injuries.
